Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Systems-Gold Award, 2019
Cheatham has been recognized with the PBISaz Gold Achievement Award. This award recognizes schools for successful implementation and measurable student outcomes with school-wide systems of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS). Award levels are based on time participating in PBIS as well as measured student improvement.

Mathleague.org, 3rd Place Overall State Competition, 2018
Six Cheatham students competed in the mathleague.org competition and took 2nd Place in their division and 3rd Place overall. Congratulations to our Cheatham Mathletes: Kiara Ince, Ryan Neisch, Xavia Roberts, Cherece Carter, Virgil Hartman and Kevin Nguyen. Club sponsor is Ms. Carrie Taylor.
Academic Pentathlon, 2nd Place State Competition, 2016, 2017
Cheatham’s Academic Pentathlon team took 2nd Place at the 2016 and 2017 state competitions. Several students also received individual awards in their divisions.
Fuel Up to Play 60
Cheatham has received a grant that provides breakfast to every student. Fuel Up to Play 60 is a school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and the NFL, with collaboration with the USDA, to help encourage students to lead healthier lives.
